Automatic label printing and box numbers for your Whatnot show.
Every buyer gets a box — before the next sale lands.
WhatBox watches your Whatnot show, gives each buyer one box number for the whole night, and prints the label on your thermal printer the moment a sale confirms. Your helpers read the next box off a screen across the room instead of asking you.
14 days, no card. Then $11.99 per month, two machines per licence. Pricing

Forty seconds of a real show
An auction ends, the buyer takes box 14, the label prints, and the night closes with a summary that tells you what it could not account for.
How WhatBox prints your Whatnot labels
- 01
A sale confirms
WhatBox reads it from the show you are already running. Add one by hand, or work from an order export, if you would rather.
- 02
The buyer gets a box
Their first win of the night takes a box, and they keep it. Win again an hour later and it goes in the same one — only an item label prints. A gift routes to whoever is receiving it, not the person who paid.
- 03
The label prints
Straight to a thermal printer as the sale lands, so the item and its box number never travel separately. A failed job says why, keeps its place in the queue, and retries.
- 04
The room can see it
A TV and a tablet on your network show the same boxes. Nobody has to lean over your laptop.
More detail on how the Whatnot label printing works, including printers, label sizes and what prints when the same buyer wins twice.
Two more screens, no extra work
Both run over your own network from the same app. Open them on anything with a browser.

Set up once, in four steps
Sign in to Whatnot, pick your printer, choose a label size, run a test print. You can skip the printer entirely and just track sales.

And a straight answer at the end of the night
Every summary carries a Can I trust this data? panel: labels printed, jobs that failed, sales voided, and any minute the connection dropped — in red, where you cannot miss it. Reconcile against an order export when you want to be certain.
Your show data never leaves your computer.
Sales, buyers, box numbers and labels live in a database on your own machine. Our licensing service never receives any of it — not a buyer name, not an order, not a label. It sees a licence key, an identifier for the machine, an operating system and a version number. Nothing else, ever.
That is a deliberate boundary rather than a promise about our intentions, and it is written into the privacy policy in those words.
Built for a room with no signal
It opens without the internet
Your licence is checked against a signature your computer already holds. A venue with terrible wifi cannot stop you starting a show.
Two machines, switchable
A laptop for the show and a desktop for the packing table. Swap either whenever you like from your licence page.
An outage is not your problem
If our licensing service is down, WhatBox keeps working. Nothing we run sits between you and a show that has already started.
Try it on your next show
Fourteen days, everything switched on, no card. If it has not earned its place by the end of one show, it never will. After that it is $11.99 per month, cancellable from your licence page.
