Does WhatBox print Whatnot labels automatically?

Yes. WhatBox watches the show you are already running and prints the label the moment a sale confirms — you do not press anything. Auction wins, Buy It Now purchases and gifts all arrive the same way. You can also add a sale by hand or import a Whatnot order export if you would rather work from that.

How do box numbers work?

A buyer's first win of the night takes a box number, and they keep it for the whole show. If they win again an hour later it goes in the same box and only an item label prints, so you are not opening a second box for the same person. A gift routes to whoever is receiving it rather than the person who paid.

What printers does WhatBox work with?

Any thermal label printer your Mac or Windows machine can already print to — it uses the printer you have installed rather than talking to hardware directly. Setup lists what is ready and what is offline, and finishes with a test print so you know before a show rather than during one. You can send box labels to a second printer if you keep one.

What label sizes can I use?

Box labels print at 4 x 6, and item labels print on the smaller stock most sellers already keep. You choose the size during setup and can change it later.

Does it work on Mac and Windows?

Both. WhatBox is a desktop app for macOS and Windows, and a licence covers two computers.

What happens if my internet drops during a show?

WhatBox opens and keeps running without the internet: your licence is checked against a signature your computer already holds, so a venue with bad wifi cannot stop you starting a show. If our licensing service is down it makes no difference to a show in progress — nothing we run sits between you and the app.

How much does WhatBox cost?

$11.99 per month, tax included, with every feature in it. Fourteen days free first with no card, and you can cancel from your licence page at any time. There are thirty days to change your mind after you pay.

Can I use it on two computers?

Yes. One licence covers two machines — a laptop for the show and a desktop at the packing table is the usual pair — and you can swap either one whenever you like from your licence page.

Can my helpers see the boxes without using my laptop?

Yes. WhatBox serves a TV dashboard and a tablet packing view over your own network from the same app, so whoever is packing reads the next box off a screen across the room. The tablet view has search, Mark done and Reprint, and its rows never reorder underneath the person using it.

Does WhatBox see my buyers or my sales?

No. Sales, buyers, box numbers and labels live in a database on your own machine. Our licensing service receives a licence key, an identifier for the machine, an operating system and a version number, and nothing else — not a buyer name, not an order, not a label.

How do I know the numbers at the end of the night are right?

Every end-of-show summary carries a "Can I trust this data?" panel: labels printed, jobs that failed, sales voided, and any minute the connection dropped, in red. You can reconcile against your Whatnot order export when you want to be certain, and export CSV.

What happens when a label fails to print?

The job says why it failed — paper out, printer offline, a driver that renamed itself — keeps its place in the queue and retries. You can reprint any label at any time from the show screen or the tablet view.
